R v Perrin
In this case, the defendent sought protection from the law as he
was distributing his content via servers in a country other than the UK.
What the court held was that 'downloading' material into the UK
constituted 'publication' irrelevant of where it was 'uploaded', and
therefore was an offence under UK law.
